2021 Scholarship Criteria

Congratulations Class of 2021!!!! 

Any submissions for the Shadelle Fuller Denson Scholarship must include the criteria items below:

Criteria: 

  • Minimum GPA minimum GPA requirement of 3.0
  • Attending a Historically Black College or University in the Fall 2021
  • Must be a member of Fountain of Faith Missionary Baptist Church for at least one year
  • Provide a copy of an unofficial high school transcript
  • Provide a copy of college acceptance letter
  • A 500 word essay responding to one of the scholarship question


Scholarship essay should be a 500 word essay responding to one of the following questions below:

  • What was the biggest challenge you faced during covid-19 and how has it changed your outlook on the future?
  • What motivated you to attend your HBCU?


A recipient will receive a book scholarship of $500.00. If there is more than one recipient chosen each recipient may receive $250.00 book scholarship. No more than two recipients will be chosen each academic year.

All submission should be sent to sdensonscholarship@gmail.com by Sunday, May 9, 2021. Scholarship winners will be announced in conjunction with the Annual Fountain of Faith Scholarship Ministry Event
